A family owned and operated business since 1995, Matsu Restaurant was one of
the first sushi bars in the Northwest Houston and Spring area . They are located at 4855 FM 1960 West.(Tel. 281.893.8700) They have the freshest seafood and the highest quality. If you are not in to raw fish, they have excellent noodle and tempura dishes. Texas Monthly Magazine noted their exceptional fish quality and traditional decor accented with real bonsai trees. At Matsu you will see several of their own 40 and 50 year old black pine bonsai trees rotated throughout the year as well as newly created and unique plant species. I have eaten there for lunch, dinner, and happy hour and have enjoyed their specialties like white tuna and mackerel. Enjoy!

Klein Soccer Club is a non-profit organization located in Spring, Texas. Klein Soccer Club is a member of the Timberline Youth Soccer Association (TYSA) and offers recreational soccer to children between the Pre-k and Under 19 age groups. All games are played at the many fields at Meyer Park on Cypresswood Drive in Spring, Texas. Some of my favorite memories have been at the soccer games watching my children run up and down the fields! And, some of the greatest friendships my family has made came from the families we met through the Klein Soccer club! The original Cypress Creek Library, built in 1976, was renovated in 1986. In the Fall of 1997, a new and larger replacement library was built adjacent to the existing building. The new facility is named in honor of former First Lady Barbara Bush, who has been a champion of reading and literacy. The Barbara Bush Library opened to the public on December 18, 2002 and was officially dedicated with a reception in honor of the former first lady on February 7, 2003. Since then, Mrs. Bush has visited the library several times to read stories to the children. The new library measures 32,000 square feet and has a collection of over 240,750.
